Thurlow Care
The experience at Thurlow is a result of our innovation, and a first class experience awaits our patients from the reception area to the surgery room. As a patient, your nurse will greet you and welcome you. Your dentist will welcome you and explain to you any necessary treatment and alternative cosmetic treatments available. Our dentists regularly attend courses, keeping them up to date with the very latest in dentistry. A full treatment plan will be written for you, which will clearly state all your options. This treatment plan will include all fees so you have the complete picture of what you need or would like, and how you can achieve it.
We also have informative treatment brochures to help you understand your dentistry. Your treatment will be completed before your eyes, we have intra oral cameras to show you what is happening inside your mouth. If you prefer not to see, we will be pleased to offer you a DVD to watch or music to listen to. we also offer headphones if you wish to block out any noise.
If you have extensive treatment, we will call you the next day to see how you feel. If you have treatments such as implants, you will be given a number you can call 24 hours a day, if you have any concerns.
On completion of treatment, we ask for your feedback, enabling us to improve our services, to improve your future experience.
The health and safety of everyone at our practice is of the utmost importance. All of the equipment we use on our patients is either sterilized by autoclave, or disposed of after use in accordance with health and safety regulations.

most of you visit us on a six-monthly basis to ensure that your dental health is
in tip-top condition. To help with this we have a dental membership scheme that

Looking after your teeth at
home
Looking after
your teeth at home is as important as the treatment we provide when you visit
us. We feel it is our responsibility to show you how to maintain what we have
started, to help prevent the need for expensive treatments in the future.
To assist you with this we provide:
* Oral health advice.
* Home care kits.
* Scale and polishes when required.
* Advice on how to prevent bleeding or swollen gums.
* Fresh breath care.
* Special tooth brushes for those with gaps, crowns or bridges.
* Full range of dental products.
